
There's a lot to love about these giant panels from Briggs' Oh Skin-nay! Not only is he a master of a style of cartooning that's a thing of the past but he's a master of scene setting and gesture as well. I love the weirdness of this depiction of parent-approved closet makeout sessions. It's like Post Office was an honest-to-god method for pairing off future mates in the early 1900s but nowadays would almost certainly get that parent ostracized from the community. Or arrested.
