good news and bad news

Just a couple of weeks ago, Daniel Robert Epstein interviewed Joe Matt for Suicide Girls, and the funny, yet depressing, and of course classic exchange was posted yesterday. Well, that's fabulous news, but just as I was about to blog it and remind you all about Joe's tour that kicks off this Friday in L.A., I heard the news that early this morning Dan Epstein passed away at the age of only 31... puts a damper on any excitement, to say the least.

Dan interviewed many of D+Q's cartoonists over the years, including Kevin Huizenga, James Sturm, Chester Brown, Seth, and Adrian Tomine. We'll miss him...
