If only all Batman comics looked like this...



Recently, Doug Wright Awards impresario Brad Mackay commissioned what he calls an "All Star roster of Canadian cartoonists" to interpret a DC Comics character. The entries will be auctioned off this Saturday (in one of the numerous festivities at this weekend's TCAF festival) as part of a benefit for the Wright Awards. Along with Chester Brown's Batman interpretation (above) and its source material (below), you can view more entries by Canadian cartooning luminaries including Jillian Tamaki, Matthew Forsythe, Joe Ollman, Kate Beaton, and many others here.
