Guy Delisle's JERUSALEM hits #1 on the NY Times Graphic Novel Bestseller List!

Here's a photo of Guy relaxing over a coffee this morning with D+Q editorial marketing manager Julia Pohl-Miranda, (taken by our fabulous colleague Dan Wagstaff of Canadian distributor Raincoast Books) after his SRO TCAF Thursday night event at the Carleton Cinema, and doing two interviews before 11 AM this morning, with TVO's The Agenda with Steve Paikin and CBC Q With Jian Gomeshi (podcast tomorrow). And if that is not enough, the National Post turned in a thoughtful, long review stating: "Jerusalem provides both an excellent introduction to the conflict in the Middle East and a fascinating close-up of what it’s like to live in the most sacred city in the world." And drumroll please....JERUSALEM just landed at #1 on the New York Times Graphic Novel bestseller list. Guy is finishing the last leg of two week North American tour this weekend at TCAF, so I would to thank him not only for doing such a gruelling tour, but just for creating four masterful graphic novels over the past 9 years that have made an immediate impact in every market they enter around the world, as they should. Quite simply, you're a great cartoonist, Guy, and we're humbled to be your publisher. Your #1 spot is very deserved.
