Well well well, shake off those Canadian Thanksgiving blues America: it seems we're still in that convention time of the year, and we have another show comin' up fast. This weekend is the
Alternative Press Expo in
San Francisco, CA. So come on down to
The Concourse (635 8th St.) this
Saturday October 13 from 11 am to 7 pm and this Sunday October 14 from 11 to 6. D+Q Creative Director Tom Devlin will be manning our booth, 515-517, and bringing the Moomin books, the dry wit, and, maybe, if you ask nicely, a bowtie or two.
And lest I forget to mention,
Adrian Tomine, author of
Optic Nerve, Scenes from an Impending Marriage, Shortcomings, and other wonderful books, will be signing at the booth on
Saturday from 1 to 3 pm. The next day we're dashing him off to
LA for a New York Drawings event at Skylight Books, so make the most of him while you can, people!
