Scream it from the roof tops: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!

Maybe you saw this wonderful review yesterday from the best critic in comics the almighty Tom Spurgeon.  Tom's review is poignant, and really nails what Gilbert captures in the book with childhood.  And Tom ends his review by stating "Marble Season is a formidable work from one of the best cartoonists.  It's Beto's year."  Who doesn't agree with that?  So perhaps if you're still unconvinced, then you can just wait until Free Comic Book Day and pick up this excerpt.  Or maybe you are convinced and you can then just pick it up for a friend.  Don't forget that Gilbert is touring in April, and doing a slide show on the comics from his childhood that were influential.  Hello!  Who doesnt want to hear that presentation, meet Gilbert in person and get your book signed?!?!

And it wouldn't be Free Comic Book Day if there wasn't a high quality full color comic from Enfant.  The kind of comic you can assuredly give your child and they will adore! Anna, Froga and Pippi!
