Art Spiegelman CO-MIX launch at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe tonight

Good morning! Now I know some of you are still getting over your SPX /  BBF / WOTS hangovers (oh wait, that's just me), but please lissen up! I've been able to see Art Spiegelman speak twice in my short life, and people, it is a not-to-be-missed experience.

You have one more chance to see legendary cartoonist (and downright inspiring talker) Art Spiegelman speak about what he calls "The Great Retrospection" in honour of his brand-new-just-hit-stores book Co-Mix: A Retrospective of  Comics, Graphics, and Scraps. And by George (or Jove, or whoever you prefer), you oughta do it! Mr. Spiegelman is one of the most thoughtful and articulate people you can imagine on the topics of comics, art, story, and most especially on the relationship between all of these things.

And if you don't believe me, the New Yorker has my back on this one, spotlighting the launch. For added Co-Mix talk, please take a listen to this NPR Weekend Edition interview. Now that you're appropriately riled up, take note of the facts, and gather your wits about you for the launch: Tuesday September 24th at 7 pm! Housing Works Bookstore Cafe (126 Crosby St, New York, NY, 10012)! Art Spiegelman in conversation with Dan Nadel of The Comics Journal!
