Peter Bagge in Seattle! Town Hall with Cienna Madrid! Glowing First Reviews!

Do not miss the fabulous Mr. Peter Bagge debuting his new graphic novel WOMAN REBEL to his hometown crowd tomorrow night, 7.30 pm, at Town Hall Seattle.

He'll present a slideshow, he'll be in conversation with Cienna Madrid and the whole event is co-sponsored by Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest with books being sold by Elliott Bay. If that is not a winning line-up, I don't know what is. If you're still in the dark on Pete's great new book, check out these two reviews:

"I do not say this lightly: I think Bagge's new biography of Sanger, Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story, is the best work of his career."–Paul Constant, The Stranger

"I think Sanger also has a vague kinship with Buddy in Bagge’s Hate comics of the grunge era. She’s a rebel, per the title, and almost always outraged about one thing or another. Though the word didn’t exist during her early life, Sanger was a feminist who ever raged against injustice and orthodoxy."–Brian Miller, Seattle Weekly

The Seattle PI spotlights the book and event here.
