Anders Nilsen hits the west coast in February

Look out, Stanford, Berkeley, and Los Angeles! Anders Nilsen is coming to your cities to read you some parables about human fallibility, so get your listening ears and your learning eyes on.

He's on the road for a few more events this February after a stellar end of year bunch of reviews from The Austin Chronicle ("trenchant and f***ing hilarious"), Cult Montreal ("Anders Nilsen [is a] dark philosopher"), and The Examiner ("[a] stark black meditation on mythology and religion in the modern world."). Read some more praise for the book here.

You can find Anders at...

STANFORD | Wednesday, February 5th, 6 to 8 pm
Stanford University's Humanities Center, 424 Santa Teresa St.

This will be a solo talk by Anders, touching on the presence of religion and mythology in his past and current work. It's free and open to the public so all you shy Stanford residents, come on by!

The next two events are with Michael DeForge, coinciding with his Ant Colony tour, and will feature slideshow presentations by both Anders and Michael, plus Q&A and signings, which means you can get your copies of Rage of Poseidon and Ant Colony personalized...

BERKELEY | Thursday, February 6th, 7:30 pm
Pegasus Books, 2349 Shattuck Ave.

LOS ANGELES | Friday, February 7th, 7:30 pm
Skylight Books, 1818 N. Vermont Ave.

Now, get down there and get yourselves some good old fashioned book learning!
